FEATURED CUER: DOUG AND LESLIE DODGE
Doug and Leslie have been square and round dancing since the 1970's in Yuma and Denver respectively. In 1981 they met at the national square dance convention in Seattle. After a long-distance courtship, they married in April 1982 (at which time Leslie found out that Doug was a cuer and teacher). They have now been teaching choreographed and social ballroom dance for more than 40 years. They have danced, cued and taught in the US, Canada, Japan, Europe, and Central America, at square and round dance weekends, festivals, and conventions, and on cruise ships.
Leslie and Doug love teaching and writing dances. Some of their more popular dances include: A Song in the Night (2TS), Adagio II (2WZ), Feels so Right (4BO), Feed the Birds IV (4WZ), My Cup Runneth Over (2WZ), Sukiyaki (2TS), and I Belong to You (5RB/FT).
They split their time between teaching dance in Mesa, AZ during the winter months, and summers in Bozeman MT and traveling to different dance festivals.
